Meet Ron Tornari – Chefs for Seniors

“I think NEWITY cares, they understand the small business and they know what we went through. NEWITY made me feel like they were working for me.”
Ron Tornari
Owner of Chefs For Seniors

This company’s mission is to provide amazing food and proper nutrition. It is an in-home meal preparation and grocery shopping service. The primary clients are seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. They bring the affordable luxury of a personal chef to their clients’ own kitchen and creates healthy and delicious meals tailored to each individual’s preference.

Chef Ron Tornari is the owner of this franchise called Chefs For Seniors in South Jersey, NJ. He used to be a corporate chef, but three years ago he started this company to help provide healthy meals for seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. Ron now serves over 120 clients from Princeton to Cape May offering delivery or in-home food preparation, so meals are at the ready. His offering is access to personal chef services without the expensive price tag. Chef Ron does the shopping, the prep, the cooking, and the cleanup – allowing his clients to relax and enjoy their delicious and nutritious meals. The culinary team at Chefs for Seniors are all ServSafe certified, fully insured, and each chef undergoes a background check to ensure complete safety.

After experiencing a significant downturn during the COVID Pandemic, Ron was able to get through the PPP application process with NEWITY and receive full forgiveness. The funds helped keep Chefs For Seniors operating during a very difficult time and allow them to continue delivering food to those in need of a warm meal.
