Jobsite Theater, the resident theater company at the Straz Center for Performing Arts, has served the Tampa Bay area since 1998. As an ensemble-based professional theater company, Jobsite is dedicated to producing socially and politically relevant theater for a wide audience.
David Jenkins, the Producing Artistic Director, oversees the daily production and finances of this theater. He manages a wide range of responsibilities, from reviewing ledgers and balance sheets to creating all the theater’s stage art. With limited time to find solutions, David trusted NEWITY to service his PPP loan and ERC.
In 2021, David searched for a PPP loan but struggled to find support at his local banks. As a result, David turned to NEWITY seeking a better customer experience. From the start, he was amazed that a single member of our team supported him throughout every step of the PPP loan process. From the beginning of the application through money being deposited into his account. He felt that our customer support set us apart from others.
Testifying to his positive customer service experience, David returned to us for help with ERC when he discovered the theater might qualify. We guided David through the ERC eligibility and filing process, ensuring David’s ERC application met all program guidelines and IRS standards. A few months after filing, David received his ERC refund, helping Jobsite Theater continue to engage with the Tampa community. Today, David enjoys reading our weekly newsletter and reviewing the resources accessible through our website.
David has recommended us to several of his friends and says he will continue to do so. He thinks it is fantastic to know that we are in Jobsite’s corner. Furthermore, he is certain that next time they need some financial help, they will call NEWITY. We are thrilled to have made it easy for Jobsite Theater to get access to the capital they need to thrive.
