Mahogany Gault (she/her) and her team are tasked with the comprehensive servicing of PPP and 7(a) loans. This includes payment handling, processing payoffs, conducting borrower outreach, managing collections, reviewing loan files, and collecting necessary documentation. A key aspect of Mahogany’s role is ensuring strict adherence to the SBA’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), while simultaneously implementing processes and procedures that are both accurate and efficient.
Furthermore, Mahogany is dedicated to providing exceptional support to borrowers. She understands the importance of helping business owners manage their financial obligations while running their businesses. To this end, she continually seeks to enhance the quality of service offered, ensuring that members receive the highest level of support. This includes clear communication, timely responses to inquiries, and proactive assistance in resolving any issues that may arise.
Former Officer, Post Closing Review Team Leader at Byline Bank
Prior to joining NEWITY, Mahogany managed the Post Close Review department at Byline Bank. During her 7 years with Byline, she worked her way through the ranks from 7a loan closer to Post Close Reviewer. Her hard work earned her a promotion to Officer, Team Lead of the post close review group. Her team was responsible for reviewing all closed loans for compliance with the SOP and bank policy to protect the SBA guaranty.
In addition, she facilitated internal training for the SBA dept. Mahogany received the SBA Fundamental Diploma from NAGGL, The National Association of Guaranteed Government Lenders.
NEWITY LLC and its affiliates are not lenders participating in SBA’s 7(a) loan program. NEWITY LLC is a lender service provider for Northeast Bank, a lender participant in SBA’s 7(a) loan program. SBA 7(a) loans are ultimately processed and approved by a lender participant in SBA’s 7(a) loan program.
