We are seeking a customer-centric Loan Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 – 2 years of work experience in call center settings. Experience in lending or finance is a must. This role requires strong organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and through email. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in working on a fast-paced dynamic team and who is passionate about helping others.

Key Responsibilities

• Build working relationships with members to facilitate loan review process
• Determine loan feasibility and borrower credit worthiness
• Perform analysis for loan requests and submit timely completion of credit review for new and renewing loans
• Prepare and present loan requests to credit managers
• Manage borrower relationship and actively and ensure positive customer experience
• Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of SBA regulations and lending requirements

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, and Excel on a day-to-day basis
• Proficient doing basic mathematical calculations
• Comfortable in dynamic, high-volume environments
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle a wide range of situations over the phone with tact and diplomacy
• Ability to read and understand financial documents
• Comfortable using HubSpot or other CRMs is a plus
• Able to multi-task under time pressure
• Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take on challenges
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
• Comfortable working and learning independently
