Job Summary:

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the final stages of the loan origination process. Your responsibilities will include organizing and generating loan closing documents, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of closing packages, and working with borrowers to finalize and obtain any missing documentation related to the loan closing process. This critical role ensures a seamless transition from loan approval to loan funding. We are looking for candidates interested in a fast-paced environment where you will wear multiple hats. 

Qualifications:  

  • BS/BA in accounting, finance, or related discipline preferred
  • Willingness to call customers regularly
  • Financial services, due diligence, loan documentation, or closing experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity and commitment to following rules and guidelines 
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take on challenges 
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate eloquently over the phone 
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaborating in teams 
  • Comfortable utilizing/learning various computer programs 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Receives, reviews, and prepares closing packages for bank approval 
  • Manages closing queue 
  • Call customers to obtain required documents or updated materials  
  • Prepares various monthly reports 
  • Helps print and/or mail closing documents that require physical signatures 
  • Manages workload by monitoring newly received loans as well as loans pending items with borrowers 

Salary: 

  • $50,000 – $55,000 per year
