We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience. This role requires a strong understanding accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work directly with the leadership team. This is a great opportunity for someone who feels at home in the accounting, bookkeeping, billing, and reconciliation space and who would like to focus their career specifically in this area.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Description & Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting and bookkeeping operations for multiple entities
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Manage cash flow and ensure liquidity
• Prepare compliance reports as required
• Handle billing and collections
• Perform accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to help produce financial reports or statements
• Maintain internal financial controls and procedures

Salary

• $60,000 – $70,000 per year
